Every member of Surge represents our brand, values, and mission — whether online, in print, or in person. This policy outlines how to communicate, post, and engage publicly in a way that upholds Surge’s professionalism, integrity, and reputation.

Purpose

To maintain consistent and professional public communication across all platforms while protecting Surge’s reputation, intellectual property, and strategic interests.
This policy applies to all Surge members, partners, contractors, and affiliates.


Brand Alignment and Content Approval

Consistency builds trust and brand value. All Surge-related materials must reflect official standards for design, language, and representation.

  • All graphics, videos, flyers, and visual assets referencing Surge must be created or approved by the Brand Team before publication.

  • Titles and role designations in social bios, email signatures, and business cards must match official Surge documentation.

  • Templates for business cards, presentations, and Zoom backgrounds must not be altered without written approval.

  • Logo and brand usage must comply with the official Brand & Messaging Guidelines.

Professionalism and Responsible Representation

Surge members are expected to uphold integrity, respect, and inclusivity in all interactions.

  • Do not engage in public arguments or divisive topics (e.g., politics, religion).

  • Avoid posting statements that could be misinterpreted as official company positions.

  • Never make exaggerated, misleading, or unverifiable claims about Surge’s products, services, or opportunities.

  • Maintain composure and professionalism in all online and in-person communications.


Personal Social Media Conduct

Your personal online presence can reflect on Surge - even when you’re "off the clock."

  • Obscene, vulgar, or NSFW content is prohibited on any profile that references Surge, even if the post or content is not directly referencing Surge.

  • Cyberbullying, harassment, or derogatory posts about colleagues, partners, or competitors will result in disciplinary action and/or termination.

  • If you post about Surge, align with our mission: educate, inspire, and uplift.

  • Tag official company pages when appropriate and follow all Social Media Compliance Rules.


Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

All Surge members are responsible for protecting the company’s proprietary information, strategies, and data.

  • Do not share internal documents, financial information, or project data publicly.

  • Do not reproduce or distribute Surge training materials, client data, or proprietary systems.

  • Treat all internal communication as confidential unless explicitly marked for public release.

Violations of confidentiality may result in termination and potential legal action.


Marketing, Endorsements, and Public Partnerships

All marketing or public-facing collaborations involving Surge must be transparent, compliant, and approved.

  • Any paid partnerships, speaking engagements, or sponsorships tied to Surge require prior approval.

  • Never present yourself as an official spokesperson unless authorized by the executive team.

  • Any personal event, training, or product must not conflict with Surge’s business interests.

  • All references to Surge in promotional material must be accurate and pre-approved.


Reporting and Accountability

Every member shares responsibility for maintaining the company’s professional reputation.

  • If you observe potential violations, report them to [email protected].

  • Noncompliance may result in removal of content, temporary suspension, or termination.

  • All reports are handled confidentially and reviewed by leadership.
