🔑 Quick Reference to Section 4 – Operating a Surge Business
Surge Members are independent entrepreneurs, but representing the Surge brand comes with responsibility. Follow these rules to protect the company, protect yourself, and thrive as part of the Surge community.
✅ DO’s (Your Keys to Success)
Follow the Compensation Plan. Always enroll, sell, and earn according to Surge’s official rules. Keep it clean, transparent, and honest.
Act Professionally. Be ethical, respectful, and helpful in every interaction with customers, partners, and other Members.
Protect Confidentiality. Keep Surge’s information (customers, partners, internal tools, pricing, strategies) secure — during and after your membership.
Use Surge Systems. Submit leads, proposals, and projects only through the Surge platform. This ensures you get credit and protects the integrity of our business.
Brand Correctly. Market yourself as an Independent Member of Surge Enterprises. Use only approved logos, materials, and templates.
Stay Compliant Online. You can promote Surge on your personal business site or social media, but always include a disclaimer and follow our brand rules.
Respect Privacy. Handle all customer and partner data responsibly. Use it only for Surge business, and never share it outside approved systems.
Ask First. If you want to run ads, build a campaign, or create new materials — get approval before going live.
❌ DON’Ts (What Gets You in Trouble Fast)
Don’t manipulate enrollments or fudge numbers — that’s fraud.
Don’t trash-talk Surge, its Members, leaders, or partners — it damages everyone.
Don’t share confidential info with competitors or outsiders.
Don’t pitch competing opportunities to Surge Customers, Members, or Partners.
Don’t use “Surge” in your domains, social handles, or websites (e.g., surgecommercialsolar.com). If you already own one, it must be transferred to Surge.
Don’t create ads or pages that look like they’re official Surge HQ. You can only represent yourself as an Independent Member.
Don’t resell, divert, or misuse leads generated through Surge’s brand or systems — those leads belong to Surge.
Don’t post or say political or ideological statements tied to Surge that could offend or divide. Stay neutral to protect the brand and community.
Don’t store Customer data outside Surge-approved platforms (no personal spreadsheets or side CRMs).
⚠️ Consequences if You Break These Rules:
Suspension or termination of your membership.
Forfeiture of earned or pending commissions.
Loss of your right to use the Surge brand.
Legal action, including recovery of domains, accounts, or damages.
🏆 Keys to Long-Term Success
Build trust with customers and partners by being ethical and transparent.
Focus on collaboration — success comes faster when we “win as one team.”
Treat Surge’s brand as your own — protect it like your reputation depends on it (because it does).
When in doubt, check the official P+P or ask your Mentor before acting.
🔑 Quick Reference to Section 5 – Sales & Training Responsibilities
Representing Surge means serving Customers, Partners, and your team with professionalism and accuracy. Here’s how to succeed without risking violations:
✅ DO’s (Your Keys to Success)
Use Official Materials. Always present Surge’s products and services using approved proposals, presentations, and resources.
Be Accurate. Double-check every detail — from Customer info to project data to your own credentials. Accuracy = trust.
Complete Training. Stay current with all required Surge training modules, platform updates, and partner/product sessions.
Report Issues. If you see a violation of Surge policies, speak up through official channels. Protecting the brand protects your business.
Mentor with Integrity. If you’re a Mentor, guide your Scouts and Strategists. Make sure your team knows and follows Surge’s rules.
❌ DON’Ts (What Gets You in Trouble Fast)
Don’t make promises or claims that aren’t supported by official Surge data (savings, performance, timelines).
Don’t falsify or exaggerate Customer information, licenses, or project details.
Don’t skip required training — it’s mandatory, not optional.
Don’t look the other way if you see policy violations — failing to report can be a violation too.
Don’t ignore your Downline if you’re a Mentor — their mistakes can reflect back on you.
🏆 Keys to Long-Term Success
Trust is everything. Customers, Partners, and teammates must know you’re reliable.
Stay sharp by completing training — Surge evolves, and so should you.
Mentor by example: lead with professionalism, compliance, and collaboration.
Protect your credibility by always keeping details honest and accurate.
🔑 Quick Reference to Section 6 – Compensation & Payments
Your income with Surge comes from following the rules of the Compensation Plan. Stick to these principles and you’ll protect both your earnings and your reputation.
✅ DO’s (How to Get Paid Right)
Follow the Plan. Only sell through the official Surge platform. Commissions are paid exactly as outlined in the Compensation Plan.
Work with Approved Partners. Commissions are earned only on projects installed by Surge-approved EPC, Product, and Finance Partners.
Keep Details Accurate. Enter complete, correct Customer and project info. Accuracy protects your commission.
Expect Payment on Time. Commissions are paid on Surge’s schedule, based on when Customers pay — not before.
Track Training & Updates. Compensation rules may evolve; stay current on changes.
❌ DON’Ts (What Will Cost You Commissions)
Don’t negotiate side deals with EPC, Product, or Finance Partners. All deals must go through Surge.
Don’t accept direct payments or referral fees from Customers or Partners.
Don’t make up or fudge numbers — misrepresentation means forfeiture and termination.
Don’t expect commissions on canceled, unfunded, or unpaid projects. No install = no pay.
Don’t assume bonuses are guaranteed — they’re temporary and may change at Surge’s discretion.
🏆 Keys to Long-Term Earning Success
Treat the Compensation Plan as your playbook — it’s the only way commissions flow.
Protect your Downline: when they succeed ethically, so do you.
Think long-term: no shortcuts, no circumvention. Protect the Surge platform that pays you.
Remember: commissions are a privilege of compliance. Break the rules, and you break your paycheck.
🔑 Quick Reference to Section 7 – Transfers & Succession
Your Surge membership is a privilege, not property. You can build and benefit from it, but you cannot sell, assign, or pass it on however you like. Here’s what you need to know:
✅ DO’s (What’s Allowed)
Ask for Approval. If you want to transfer your membership (for example, into a business entity you own), you must request and receive Surge’s written approval first.
Plan Ahead. In case of death or incapacity, your membership may transfer to a legal heir or executor — but only with Surge’s approval and only if they qualify as a Member.
Keep Surge Informed. If your business entity changes owners (e.g., merger, sale, or major restructuring), you must notify Surge and request approval.
❌ DON’Ts (What’s Prohibited)
Don’t sell or assign your Surge membership, Downline, or Customers without Surge’s approval — it’s not allowed.
Don’t try to flip your account or quietly transfer ownership to someone else.
Don’t skip the process if your business entity changes — unauthorized changes = termination.
🛡️ Right of First Refusal (ROFR)
Before you transfer or sell anything, Surge has the first right to buy or reclaim your membership on the same terms you’ve been offered.
You must provide written notice of any proposed transfer.
Surge has 30 days to decide whether to exercise its ROFR.
If Surge declines, you can proceed only with explicit approval under the policies.
🏆 Keys to Long-Term Success
Think of your Surge membership as a license to operate under the Surge brand — not an asset you can trade.
Protect your Downline: they belong to the Surge ecosystem, not to you personally.
Always go through Surge HQ for transfers, sales, or succession.
🔑 Quick Reference to Section 8 – Termination of Membership
Membership with Surge is a privilege. Here’s what happens if you leave — or if Surge ends your membership.
✅ Voluntary Termination (You Choose to Leave)
Send written notice to Surge HQ.
Any commissions tied to uncompleted or unpaid projects are forfeited.
You stop being a Member immediately upon Surge’s acceptance.
❌ Involuntary Termination (Surge Ends It)
Surge can terminate your membership for cause, including:
Breaking the Policies & Procedures or Independent Contractor Agreement.
Fraud, misrepresentation, or unethical conduct.
Circumventing Surge’s platform or Partner network.
Misusing the Surge brand or confidential information.
Harassment, discrimination, or damaging Surge’s reputation.
Legal or regulatory violations.
👉 Termination for cause = loss of commissions, Downline, and all rights with Surge.
⚠️ Suspension (Pending Investigation)
Surge can suspend your account while investigating violations.
During suspension, you can’t enroll Customers or Members.
Commissions may be held until the investigation is resolved.
🚫 Effects of Termination
If your membership ends, you:
Lose all commissions, overrides, and bonuses not yet earned.
Forfeit all Customers, leads, and Downline (they remain with Surge).
Must stop representing yourself as part of Surge immediately.
Must return/destroy Surge materials and confidential info.
🔒 Post-Termination Restrictions (12 Months)
For 12 months after leaving Surge, you may not:
Solicit or service Surge Customers.
Recruit Surge Members or Partners into competing ventures.
Work directly with Surge EPC, Product, or Finance Partners outside the platform.
Use Surge’s confidential information for any reason.
Violating these rules = legal action and financial liability.
🏆 Keys to Protect Yourself
Leave clean: follow the voluntary process if you need to exit.
Never bypass Surge — all Customers, Downlines, and Partners belong to the Surge ecosystem.
Remember: brand protection = paycheck protection for everyone.
